Privacy Policy

This page lays out what gets collected when you land on the site, what it is used for, and what you can do about it. Cookies, outside tools, your rights – it is all below. Worth a quick read.

What Ends Up In Our Records

A handful of things may be logged while you are on the site:

  • Name and email – but only when you send a message or fill something in.
  • IP address, plus the basics about your browser and device.
  • Cookies and other small files dropped on your device.
  • Which pages you open, and roughly how long you stick around.

Nothing beyond that is scooped up for no reason. If the site does not need it, we do not ask for it.

What It Gets Used For

The bits we collect feed into a short list of things:

  • Keeping the site up and running day to day.
  • Smoothing out slow spots and broken pieces.
  • Working out which pages pull readers in and which fall flat.
  • Spotting weird traffic and blocking anything dodgy.
  • Writing back when you reach out.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that land on your device after you open a page. Ours count visits, hold a few security checks together, and remember little settings so the site feels less awkward next time round. You are free to clear them or turn them off in your browser whenever you feel like it. Just a heads-up – switch them all off and bits of the site may act up.

Outside Tools

Google Analytics runs in the background so we can tell what is working. It pulls things like IP address, device type, and pages viewed, and handles that under its own privacy terms – not ours. We do not sell personal data. Not now, not ever.

Keeping Things Safe

Sensible technical and organisational measures sit in place to shield personal data from leaks, loss, or prying eyes. Anything that travels across the internet carries some risk though, so we are not going to dress that up.

What You Can Ask Of Us

Where the rules in your country back you up, you can:

  • Ask for a copy of what we hold on you.
  • Get anything wrong or out-of-date corrected.
  • Tell us to delete your data.
  • Push back on how it is being handled, or rein it in.
  • Take back consent you gave us earlier.

Send a note to the email at the bottom and we will deal with it.

How Long Things Stay

Data hangs around only as long as it is actually needed for the reasons listed above, or as long as the rules that apply to us say it has to.
